Welcome Back!
I wanted to touch base again with a Generative A.I. adoption story. I’m actually pretty bullish about the capability of Salesforce to augment the CRM and its products with Generative A.I.
So what are we talking about here? Salesforce Einstein is artificial intelligence (AI) technology that has been developed for the Salesforce Customer Success Platform.
Salesforce lets enterprises plug in own AI models through Einstein Studio
Salesforce introduced its AI layer, dubbed Einstein, in 2016 and with Generative A.I. its suddenly got a lot more utility.
So who is this for? With Einstein Studio, data scientists and engineering teams can efficiently and cheaply maintain and deploy AI models. Salesforce’s Data Cloud makes it simple for businesses to train models with their private data using its curated AI model ecosystem, including AWS’s Amazon SageMaker, Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, and other AI services. This agnostic reliance on partners makes a lot of sense here.
A platform for Generative A.I. data-engineering? The solution is really aimed at folks who have fairly sophisticated data teams and have been building models in other places like SageMaker. These companies want to put those models they’ve already built and made a significant investment in, to work in other contexts. That’s what Einstein Studio enables them to do.
Bravo to Salesforce in making things easier for their customers, this is how you adopt and pivot with Generative A.I.
