In a world of Midjourney dominance, it’s hard to remember what Stability A.I. or OpenAI did in the field to be honest. How Midjourney scaled without funding is one of the best kept secrets of the Generative A.I. movement. Stability A.I. hasn’t been without controversy and OpenAI is definately not known for image generation.

Which makes the launch of DALL-E 3 all that more intriguing.

When I think of DALL-E, I think of images of the ridiculous like the one above. If Midjourney has a bleak and dystopian framing, each image generator seems to have their own persona.
