I’m technically on my break, but Anthropic who is already backed by Amazon and Google is getting even more funding. Let’s listen to the rumor.

Artificial intelligence (AI) startup Anthropic is in discussions to raise $750 million in a funding round led by Menlo Ventures. Anthropic (itself an OpenAI spin-off) seem determined to get their $5 Billion to take on OpenAI. I wonder if a bunch of researchers are the best stewards of that kind of money?

I had full respect for Anthropic, until they sold out to the likes of Amazon and Google.
